 Getting into you truck shouldn't feel like climbing Mount Everest.  That's why AMP Research invented the Powerstep, the automatic, electric powered running board that instantly extends when you open your door and retracts out of sight when the doors closed for improved ground clearance, aerodynamics and appearance.  Its sleek design, all-weather performance, and legendary reliability set the industry standard.  

 The Original POWERSTEP is made from high-strength, die cast aluminum alloy components with an anodized and PTFE-coated, military spec finish to resist corrosion.  The precision stainless steel pivot pins and maintenance free self lubricating bushings provide years of smooth operation.  Also included is the low-profile integrated LED light system to illuminate the step at night.

 The POWERSTEP XTREME is made specifically for extreme environments.  Dual OE quality motors drive the electric powered running board to deliver more power when deploying and retracting.  Aggressive design for extreme traction, all weather performance made from high-strength die-cast aluminum components.  Also includes led lights to illuminate the steps when deployed.

 The POWERSTEP XL features a rugged bold design offering a 3" lower stepping surface than the original PowerStep and makes accessing your lifted truck easier.  The rock rail is constructed of 6063 Marine grade aluminum with a durable black textured finish. The step is made from die-cast aluminum alloy components with an anodized and PTFE coated military spec finish to resist corrosion.  The integrated led light system illuminates the steps when deployed.

The POWERSTEP SMART SERIES The Powerstep Smart Series is AMP's most high-tech running board line to date, offering next-level features, effortless operation, and the same heavy-duty build quality expected from the leaders in power-retractable running boards. The AMP Research Powerstep Smart Series features heavy-duty alloy construction consisting of anodized cast-aluminum steps, hinges, and corrosion-resistant stainless steel hinge pins. AMP Research treats both step surfaces with a military-grade PTFE coating, further guarding against corrosion and unsightly wear for years of reliable service. The Smart Series features AMP Research's all-new smartphone integration, allowing you to manually override the steps from the convenience of your Apple or Android smart device! If you need to deploy the steps for cleaning or lock the steps in their retracted position while hitting the trail, you can open up the app and command the steps to do so in seconds!
